The Year Was 1995
Russell began the journey to forging the craft movement by making small-batch unpasteurized “Real Beer” with all-natural ingredients.
David vs. Goliath
It did not take long before Russell knew that it was time to challenge the “Goliaths” of the beer world, and we did so by making ultra-great tasting craft beer that was new, and fresh – unlike the typical beer you may find in your dad’s refrigerator.
Fast Forward 25 Years
Russell Brewing Company continues in its pioneering spirit; relentlessly forging a new path in the beer market. Last year we brewed and released over 30 craft beer flavours loved by all who were able to sneak a taste.

Head Brewer
GRAHAM KENNY
Graham started at Russell Brewing Co. in July 2018, but has been working in the industry for over 18 years. He has quickly fit in with the Russell Brewing team, and has expanded his collaborative efforts with peers and associates to take things to the next level. Along with his diploma in Craft Beer and Brewing, he has a degree in Biology! Both of these from Simon Fraser University. Although born and raised in Vancouver, Graham has lived all across western Canada in pursuit of his career.
